Make safe the Grade B listed former Clyde Shipyard drawing office which had been damaged by fire.

G & J Demolition Limited were asked by Fairhursts on behalf of their client Clyde Port Authority to attend site and make safe significant damage caused by fire to the grade B listed former Clyde Shipyard drawing office at Castlebank Street, Glasgow.

The fire had caused significant structural damage to the building damaging the roof structure, chimneys and gable end wall to the east elevation of the building.

All sandstone material was salvaged and remained on site for the client.

The work was completed to the client’s standard with all salvaged material placed onto pallets and left on site. The area around the building was cleaned up of any debris/material to leave the area tidy.
